Partner Reading | Episode 038

In Reading Boots Episode 038, you will learn an important during reading strategy called Partner Reading. In Partner Reading, you and your child will alternate reading aloud parts or pages of the book. You will model using fluency and expression for your child.

Partner Reading allows beginning readers to practice reading texts at their independent or instructional level because a more skilled reader is taking on half of the load. It also gives beginning readers an opportunity to practice reading fluently and with expression. Your child will love reading aloud with you and will feel a great sense of accomplishment!
