Question Mark Detective | Episode 060
In Reading Boots Episode 060, you will learn a fun during reading strategy called Question Mark Detective. In this game, your child will get to turn into a detective with an imaginary magnifying glass to search for question marks. What you’ll do is explain to your child that a question mark shows that the sentence is a question. You will discuss how your voice needs to go up at the end of a question. Then you’ll read and model how to change your voice for a question.
Pointing out question marks and modeling how to read a question will help your child learn to use correct phrasing and expression when reading independently. Your child is sure to love turning into a Question Mark Detective!
