Sticky Note Prediction | Episode 063

In Reading Boots Episode 063, you will learn a fun During Reading Strategy called Sticky Note Prediction. While reading a story aloud to your child, you will stop before the end to predict what will happen next in the story. After making a prediction, write it on a sticky note and place it in the book. Then you will read to the end. When you’re finished reading, go back to the sticky note and ask your child if the prediction is correct or if something unexpected happened instead.  

Making predictions while reading is a great way to help your child stay actively involved in the story. It will also help your child with listening comprehension.
