Story Mime | Episode 013

In Reading Boots Episode 013, your child will transform into a mime! In this during reading strategy, you will read a story aloud, while your child acts out what is happening. Your child will move his/her body to represent the events and details of the story.

Acting out a story in a physical way will help increase your child’s listening comprehension, because he/she must think about what is happening in the story and figure out a way to represent it with his/her body. The Story Mime strategy also helps your child stay engaged in the read aloud experience. Your child will love to transforming into the actor in your big performance!
