In Reading Boots Episode 015, you will learn how to play the Robot Words game. Robot Words is a during reading strategy where you will turn into a robot and say some words like a robot. You will pick one or two words per page and segment the words into sounds, then your child will blend the sounds together to guess the Robot Words!

Practicing segmenting and blending words orally helps prepare your child to sound out words when he/she reads independently. Robot Words is a fun game that will engage your child in an important pre-reading skill. Your child will love seeing you turn into a robot and will love guessing the Robot Words!
