In Reading Boots Episode 016, you will learn how to play Character Detective. Character Detective is an after reading strategy where your child will turn into a detective with an imaginary magnifying glass to search for the characters in the story. After you’ve read the story, you will challenge your child to look through the pictures to find and identify the characters.
Character Detective introduces your child to the important vocabulary word and story element of character. Having knowledge of story elements will help your child gain a deeper understanding of the story and will increase listening comprehension. Your child will love becoming a Character Detective!
