Character Friends | Episode 050

In Reading Boots Episode 050, you will learn a fun after reading strategy called Character Friends. In this strategy, your child will choose a character from the story to be friends with. You will ask your child questions about why the particular character was chosen and why that character would make a good friend.

Asking questions about the characters helps your child learn character traits and forces him/her use higher order thinking skills to analyze and evaluate the characters. Your child will love deciding which character he/she would like to be friends with using this fun strategy!
