I Spy Art | Episode 023

In Reading Boots Episode 023, you will learn a fun before reading strategy to help your child observe and identify objects, colors, and shapes in the story’s illustrations. You will choose a book with interesting illustrations and discuss what you see in the picture. After you discuss the illustration, you and your child will play “I Spy” with objects from the illustration.

Taking the time to examine the illustrations helps children to appreciate the pictures in the story and gives them a deeper interest in the stories you read. Discussing the illustrations in an artistic way also helps your child learn art related vocabulary words.
