Picture Walk | Episode 010

In Reading Boots Episode 010, you will learn the Picture Walk Strategy. In this before reading strategy, you and your child will get go on a walk with your eyes along all of the pictures in the story.

Through discussion of the illustrations, using the Picture Walk Strategy you will help build your child’s background knowledge to get him/her prepared to read the story, have the opportunity to pre-teach unfamiliar vocabulary words, and strengthen your child’s oral language development.  Your child will love walking along the pictures with his/her eyes!
