Title Talk & Cover Detective | Episode 002

Title Talk and Cover Detective are strategies that will help your child build background knowledge about the story you will read. These two before reading strategies are interactive and fun. Your child has the opportunity to become a “cover detective” and will even get to use a real (or imaginary) magnifying glass.

Through the use of the strategies, Title Talk and Cover Detective, you are creating a dialogue to build your child’s language acquisition skills and are guiding your child through the very important skill of making predictions.
